Outpost is proud to share this article from the newly-released book, iGen, written by one of our own Outpost parents, Jean Twenge, who is professor of psychology at San Diego State University. She finds that iGen — the kids, teens, and young adults born after 1995 — are less happy and more depressed than previous generations, most likely due to smartphones and social media crowding out time spent in-person with friends.
