Senior Counselors

College students or those who have completed college

At Outpost Summer Camp, Senior Counselors lead their groups in the daily activities. With a sense of adventure and boundless enthusiasm, these counselors inspire the memories campers treasure for a lifetime. Group counselors are sensitive to campers needs and are excellent decision makers, are open to feedback and guidance from their directors and come to work each day with a smile!

Our camp programs run from June 15, 2020 to August 14, 2020. There is a mandatory, intensive one-week training beginning Saturday, June 6, 2020. In addition, all Senior Counselors are required to complete First Aid and CPR certification prior to the summer. OSC offers a course for staff to complete this requirement prior to training, but recommends that staff complete this First Aid and CPR training in the spring.

Most of our Senior Counselors also must be willing to obtain a California Class B Commercial Drivers License (this requires a perfect driving record). Outpost Summer Camps provides the training for this requirement prior to the summer.
