Outpost Summer Camps is looking for outgoing, amazing people to join our staff! You will learn valuable leadership, essential communication, and excellent decision-making skills that will help you in your future career. Our counselors are trusted leaders who make a difference in others' lives, and in their own, in just one summer at camp.
Working with children is fun, while at the same time intensely challenging. Our directors are trained and experienced professionals who prioritize developing positive relationships with our staff. It is our goal to teach skills for successfully working with children that staff can use for a lifetime.
At Outpost we "work hard, play hard". Our directors serve as mentors for each of our counselors, meeting with them in small groups and individually throughout the summer to support them as they work in the service of their campers and their families. We pride ourselves on creating a non-toxic, safe environment at all times at Outpost, for ALL children. We see challenging behavior as an opportunity, not an annoyance, we seek to understand and grow with children, and we support each other at all times while doing so.
